Story of this San Diego
picture:
We took the family to La Jolla for some "Sharking" (as Austin puts
it) in August of 2003. We rented
kayaks and paddled around La Jolla Cove. Leopard Sharks
are very prevalent during certain times of the year. Since
they're harmless, it's fun to snorkel around and look for them,
along with all the other sea life. After a great day at the
beach, we stopped at Rubio's in La Jolla for some $1 fish tacos.
As we left Rubio's, I noticed an amazing sunset. We were on
the other side of the freeway (West side) from the temple and the
glow of the magnificent sunset was reflecting to the East. The
photo you see here was taken from the West, looking East at sunset.
Rarely, if ever, have I seen such a display of colors in the East.
Definitely a Kodak moment. |
